In July 2014, Renaud Schamber visited my website and contacted me to send me some photos mostly taken "in secret" by his grand-father, Sergent Anfriani, during the Second World War. Rapidly interested by these unseen photographs, I proposed Renaud Schamber to create a topic in tribute to his grand-father in order to present his various photographs. I let to you discover some of them while waiting for more information about Sergent Anfriani.

Thanks to Internet, I was then contacted in January 2015 by Mister Biancotti after he saw Mister Schamber's photographs : Mister Biancotti's father spent a part of his career with Sergent Anfriani. Thus I learned that Sgt Anfriani and Mr. Biancotti met in Meknès (Morrocco) and they belonged to the Spitfire Squadron of the Fighter Instruction Center. At that time they exchanged photographs (some of them below). Mr Biancotti left Meknès in 1948 and they lost touch.
